As I hopped in my truck this morning and looked at the temperature pulling out of the driveway, I was struck by how different the temperatures are every year in this part of the country.
We are now getting ready to go plow snow at the golf course entrance road and parking lot. I couldn't help but reflect on what the last portion of this year has been like. These pictures are taken about four months apart (could have easily been two) and tell a very brief story of what it is like to grow grass in the middle of the transition zone. No matter which side of the climate debate you are on, seeing roughly a 100 degree swing in temperature reminds me of just how tough 2010 was.
