On September 20th I attended a John Deere Turf demo day hosted by Erb Turf & Equipment. The event was at The Country Club at St.Albans. It gave a group of about 40 superintendents a chance to try out new equipment and exchange ideas and give feedback with our regional distributor and attendees from John Deere Cooperate. Although the summer weather was back for the day and the club had received a big rain overnight, it was a great day. It helped with the selection process for new equipment and shed light on how the John Deere products might fit into our maintenance operation.
